Hi there, I’m Heather!

Hi! My name is Heather and I’m the co-owner and lead floral designer for Breezy Day! I was born and raised in San Diego and after graduating from the University of San Diego with a degree in communications, I went on to a management career. This led to a natural transition of consulting and assisting Courtney in the early days of Breezy Day. Not long after the establishment of Breezy Day, I discovered that I had a passion for the creative side of weddings, specifically a love for flowers.

Eager to learn all that I could about my new flower obsession, I studied at the San Diego School of Flower Design where I learned the ever so important techniques of proper mechanics and structural design. I also spent every spare minute learning about the many different varieties of flowers; which work best for wedding designs and the tricks and tips for how to get the most life out of fresh cut flowers.

I have always felt that it is my duty to be upfront and honest with my clients; to never promise something that I couldn’t deliver on. I take special care with every single bloom and I see each bouquet and centerpiece as a reflection of the Breezy Day brand. I have an overwhelming sense of responsibility to provide my clients with an unforgettable floral experience that goes above and beyond their expectations.

I truly believe that flowers are a tool for people to use to express their feelings and I love helping provide people with those tools. It is my greatest joy to brighten someone’s day with flowers.

If I’m not in my studio talking to my flowers or posting Instagram stories; I’m hanging out with the love of my life, my mini goldendoodle, Rigby. Every Tuesday, you’ll find me playing Bar Trivia with my close group of friends (many of whom you may see helping me out on your big day!). I love romantic comedies and cheesy teen tv dramas not to mention I’m obsessed with reality shows like Big Brother and Survivor.
